have any questions for us?
Whether you’re brand new to bowling or returning to the lanes, our FAQ section breaks down everything you need to know about league play. So you can focus on having fun and knocking down pins!
What is a bowling league?
Leagues are simply a group of individuals who get together to bowl socially and/or competitively. They return on the same day and time for a set number of weeks either on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
How long do leagues last?
Depends on the league! We have many different options from our short season leagues range from 5 weeks to 16 weeks to our full season CTF-sanctioned leagues, which typically last about 30 weeks.
What if I don’t have a team?
We can help match you with a team looking for an extra player. Leagues are a great way to meet new people, share a few strike dances, and turn fellow bowlers into fast friends.
Do I need my own bowling ball or shoes to join?
Nope! House balls and rental shoes are available. Many bowlers choose to get their own equipment later, but it’s not required to start.
How long does league play take?
League play usually lasts about 2–3 hours, depending on the number of teams and bowlers.
What is the difference between a social League and a competitive league?
Social Leagues are generally shorter seasons and more casual, usually focusing more on having fun and getting out of the house. Competitive leagues are made up of bowlers who take the game more seriously, usually bowl a longer season, and often include prize funds at the end of the season!
Do I have to be good at bowling to join a league?
We offer many leagues for all different skill levels. Even if you are just a beginner, we have a league that is a perfect fit for you!.
What happens if I miss a week??
Life happens! Most leagues allow substitutes or make-up options. Just let your team or the league coordinator know. depending on the league, you may pre-bowl or post-bowl if you are going to miss league play.
Can I join with a pre-made group of friends or coworkers?
Absolutely! Leagues are perfect for groups—friends, families, coworkers, or couples all welcome. Leagues welcome bowlers of all skill levels. Many leagues use a handicap system so everyone can compete and have fun—whether you’re just starting or chasing strikes!
How much does it cost to join a league?
league fees vary by league and typically cover lane time and prize funds. Our front desk can walk you through current pricing!
